During the Song dynasty, the famous poet Su Dongpo once said in a poem, “I’d rather there be no meat to eat, than no bamboo in this world, not eating meat only makes you slim, but if there were no bamboo, it would make the world a little more ordinary.”

        From ancient times, people have used bamboo to represent the spirit of a gentleman, not only adamant like a plum blossom, but also symbolizing calm, elegance, a frontier spirit, and willingness to devotion. As bamboo is also a green material, it does not require ten or a hundred years to grow, only four to five.
